The Advantage Network has been notified that individuals are receiving fraudulent e-mails advising them that their Advantage card is at risk. As a reminder, The Advantage Network does not verify or update confidential customer information through e-mail. Fraudulent e-mails may attempt to obtain personal or account information such as your credit/debit card number, account password, ATM PIN, Social Security number, mother's maiden name, or other sensitive information.
The e-mail may also include a link to a Web page asking you to update or verify your account information. These fraudulent e-mails and Web pages may look like legitimate Advantage Network communications. However, you should never respond to these e-mails or click on the links in these e-mails. If you have already responded to an e-mail requesting sensitive information, please contact your financial institution immediately and advise them of the information released so they may take the best course of action to reduce your risk of fraud.
